West Dereham PC Minutes

Minutes of the meeting of the West Dereham Parish Council held on Thursday 7th April 2005 in the VillageHall following the Public Meeting.

1. Present: E. Drew - Chairman, B. Glover, Miss Richardson, Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. Berry, Mrs Cairn and three members of the public.

2 Apologies: M. Grief and Mrs. Moir - Borough Councillor.

3 Minutes: It was agreed that the Minutes of the meeting held on the 10th March 2005 be signed as a correct record.

4. Matters Arising: Notice Boards all are now refurbished, positioned and a new one purchased. All roads in the Village have been litter picked and all hedges have been cut. The Horse rider using the footpath has been contacted and stopped from riding on the footpath. The footpath around the White Horse corner has been repaired, the pot holes filled and the footpath from the Village Hall to the Community Centre has been tarred and chipped. The Cemetery extension land has been marked out, harrowed and now just need seeding.

5. Planning: None

6. Payments: Wayland Prison £100.00 : Proposed Mrs. Berry, seconded Miss Richardson. : Thomas B. Bonnett £340.81 : Proposed Mrs Berry, seconded Mrs.Fisher : Norfolk County Association of Parish & Town Councils £98.89:Proposed Mrs. Berry, seconded Mrs. Cairn all agreed pass for payment.

7. Correspondence: Norfolk Link : DEFRA. Quality Parish Councils : Norfolk Matters: Trafalgar Week-end 21st to 23rd October 2005 : Mr. Bee's Family Centre - all noted.

8. Actions: none

9. Any Other Business: A committee member is required on the Hubert Waiter Committee - the events will be held during the week 21st to 25th September 2005. A car seat is in the culvert near the Community Centre - chairman agreed to look in the matter. The Community Centre Quiz Night will be held on Saturday 21st May 2005.
