Doreen continues to be in everyone's thoughts after the armed robbery in February.
Celebration of Art and Flowers
St. Margaret's Church, Wereham
Pictures to buy or pictures just to enjoy, including work by amateur artists and a children's section, all surrounded by flower displays.
Friday 5th May 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday 6th May 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sunday 7th May 12 noon to 4:00 pm
Early visitors are encouraged to join our church service at 11:00 am
Tickets on sale at the door (£2 - children free)
Friday tickets to include free glass of wine and shortbread
Come and visit us and join in the pleasure of the art and flowers.

Parish Council Annual Meeting
Please support your local Parish council by attending meetings held on alternate months in the Village Hall at 7:30 pm throughout the year. The date of the next meeting is: -Tuesday 9th May
2007 Jamboree Fundraising Events
Five Scouts and Explorer Scouts from the South West Norfolk District, including Ben Miller from Wereham, are raising funds to attend the World Scout Jamboree 2007 - an opportunity to celebrate 100 years of scouting with 40,000 other young people from a variety of different backgrounds, cultures and religions. There are two fundraising events planned for May: -
Saturday 27th May, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Bring and Buy Sale at St. Edmunds Church Hall, Downham Market
Games, toys, books, videos, jumble, tea & coffee, cake stall, craft stall - something for everyone.
Monday 29th May
Look out for the Scouts at the Downham Market Carnival on the Howdale (see press for details)
Climbing wall open to the public plus fundraising stall.
