Minutes of Stoke Ferry Annual Parish Meeting held in the Community Centre
At 7.15pm on Wednesday 9 May 2006
Those Attending Mr M Ferrie (Chairman), Mrs T Mann. Mrs M Leamon, Mr D Summers, Mrs R Mendoza, Mr M Mycock, Mr M Precey, Mrs S Lansdell-Williams, Mr J Nicholas-Letch, Mrs C Hardy (Clerk), 13 members of the public.
Apologies Were received from PC Jackson
Minutes of Last Meeting
Mrs Mann proposed acceptance of the minutes, seconded by Mrs R Mendoza
Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
Playing Field Report
The Chair of the Playing Field Committee read a short report covering their activities during the past year, they now have more football teams playing regular games, picnic tables have been placed around the field, Grampians have been approached regarding use of the field next to the playing field, the play equipment is being checked shortly then will be repainted, it is hoped to erect a pergola to provide some shade.
Stoke Ferry Parish Plan
The Chair of the Parish Plan Steering Committee read a report on the progress so far, giving special thanks to two members of the committee with specialist experience of data assessment and action plans without whom such progress would not have been made. Janice Howell of Norfolk Rural Community Council has been guiding the committee with the plan and is pleased with the progress made, she informed the committee that these plans are being taken seriously by the Borough and County Councils now. It is hoped the final document will be completed by mid September.
