VILLAGE LIAISON MINUTES

1. Apologies

2. Minutes of the previous meeting (12th October 2011) and matters arising
The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.
3. Complaints received since the last meeting.
Mr. White stated the company had received two complaints.
4. Noise
A resident of Furlong road complained of noise on the25-10-11, the issue was a conveyor drive sprocket with a tooth missing which caused the chain to slip sporadically.
5. Odour Dust & Particulates
No complaints received.
6. Transport.
A resident ofWretton Roadcomplained on the29-11-11of lorry movements continuing through the night. Mr. White stated that in relation to the IPPC permit the only restriction on vehicle movements was that no blown raw material would be received between7.30pm&7.30am.
7. Buildings.
Mr. White stated that an offer had been received relating to the sale of the Dukes Head & Millers Arms.
8. Any other Business
Mr. Thompson asked if the murals on the Dukes could be removed as they were beginning to look unsightly, Mr. White stated at present these would be left as they are.
Mrs. Clements asked if Vion would sponsor a poster for the Queens Diamond Jubilee & donate a bottle of whiskey for a raffle prize Mr. White agreed to the requests.
Mrs. Holton asked if the Company would consider donating or selling at a reduced rate the building known as Wards Garage to the Village Hall Committee this building is the section which at present is the Village Hall’s kitchen area.
Mrs. Holton presented a letter she had prepared outlying the request, Mr. White stated this would be given to Mr. Halls.
